Quite unusually, there are lots of empty bottles this months: some are regular empties, some I needed to get rid of.
Avène Soothing Moisturizing Mask
This a mask I rely onto everytime I feel my skin needs some extra moisture (I would typically leave it all night) or soothing help, whether it be after an exfoliation or allergy, etc. It does wonder!
Verdict: Love it!
Avène Extremely Gentle Cleanser
A classic gentle cleanser, which I massage with my hands and rinse off. I like it especially during colder days.
Verdict: Love it!
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré
A classic, though I think it contains mineral oil, so the skin appears smoother, but not more hydrated. I really enjoyed it these past few years, though I really need to pay attention to ingredients.
Verdict: Love it!
Le Petit Marseillais Nettle & Citrus Shampoo
Targeted towards oily roots, I found that this shampoo did nothing to helps; on the contrary I had the feeling my roots got oilier quicker.
Verdict: Leave it!
Cottage Mint & Strawberry Shower Milk
I remembered loving the scent; quite surpringly, I found it a bit more artificial than the first time. Quite enjoy it, love the milky texture. But I am not sure I would buy again.
Verdict: Leave it!
Avène Very High Protection Spray SPF50
Technically not empty. But it's a couple of year-old bottle and better get rid of it. Be careful with suncare: you may think you're protected, but if filters are altered, then you'll get no protection. Loved this product: the packaging is practical, the texture is easy to rub in.
Verdict: Love it!
Biotherm Sun Vivo SPF50
Same here: an old bottle. Quite liked it at the time. Though it's too expensive for what it is. Clearly a cream for holidays, not a city block: the texture is too thick for everyday life and leaves a bit of a white cast. I would rather try something different this summer.

Akileïne NOK Cream
An old bottle again. At the time, I remembered it really helped me maintain my feet in good condition in Spring/Summer and prevented blisters. This is supposedly used by models and athletes. However, I don't know if the benefits are truly specific to its ingredients, or if any foot cream would help. Not bad, but I won't repurchase for the time being.
Verdict: Leave it!
Dior Diorshow Iconic Extreme Mascara
Possibly the best mascara so far that I've had. It has the softest brush I have ever felt near my eyes. Plus, it does what I enjoy in a mascara: longer lashes, fuller lashes without clumps. The volume you get looks natural (your lashes but better) and perfect for daytime mascara (maybe not for those you only swear by false lash effects). The only drawback I noticed was it tended to crumble a bit in the end; I think because of the waterproof formula? I would gladly buy it again (maybe the non waterproof version).
Verdict: Love it!
The Body Shop Soya Milk Foaming Bath Powder
Liked the milky scent, but I am not a fan of the packaging and the powder version of a foaming bath.
Verdict: Leave it!
Garnier BB cream 5 in 1 sample
I used it only once: I kept it all day, but indoors (I wasn't adventurous enough to try it on a day out). Well... to keep it short and simple, I hated it for a couple of reasons: firstly, the lightest colour was still darker than my complexion. It didn't look too ugly, I looked like a tanner version of myself. But I don't want that from a base product. Secondly, it's far too greasy and shiny! At the end of the day, I looked like I had been plunged into oil/grease! Thirdly, I had the feeling that my skin began to react and small bumps appeared. I guess if I had continued for several days, I would have broke out. Fourthly, I personally cannot stand its heavy floral scent.
The only thing I liked was the easy application: no doubt it must be full of silicones.
Verdict: Leave it!
La Roche-Posay Efflaclar K sample
I used it a couple of times, but stopped when I noticed it broke me out. This product is supposed to help get rid of imperfections, not make them appear...
Verdict: Leave it!
